Usage Tips

Follow these tips to get the most value out of your advertising.

• For posts that you plan to boost (spend money to target an audience), use low-text graphics. Facebook will reduce the reach of your ads if there’s too much text.

• If you do choose to boost, make sure to have a clear call to action in the body of your post. Just boosting a graphic isn’t enough — what is your goal?

• Make sure you have attention-grabbing, valuable messaging to accompany the post.

• Check the “Special Ad Category” section and choose “Housing” — otherwise, Facebook WILL reject your ad.
